NSAH Manuscript Submission Guidelines for the Journal

  1. Manuscript: The manuscript should be double spaced, including indented text and references, allowing margins at the top, bottom, and sides of each page. The manuscript should not exceed 25 pages (including tables, figures, etc.)

  2. Manuscript font type should be between 10pt and 12pt.

  3. Title Page: On a separate page, state the title, author’s name, degree, position, and affiliation.

  4. Manuscript Title: Only the manuscript title should appear on the manuscript, in order to maintain anonymity.

  5. Abstract: Each manuscript should include an abstract. The abstract should be between 100 – 250 words.

  6. Footnotes are not recommended and should only be used if information cannot be incorporated in the text. Notes should be numbered consecutively, and placed on a separate page titled, “Notes.”

  7. Tables: Number tables consecutively. Tables should be double spaced, and on a separate page from the narrative text.

  8. Figures: Figures should be numbered consecutively. Figures that are not reproducible may delay publication of the manuscript.

  9. References: All citations should be listed on a separate page titled, “References.” References and citations should be prepared according to the American Psychological Association format.
