Survival and Transformation of Allied Health Education at HBCUs during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond
In this time of change, it is essential to provide meaning, encouragement, and ways to support our students, faculty, and allied health professions during the COVID 19 Pandemic. The National Society of Allied Health works to decrease biases, offer the right level of support and engage and maintain students on the path to graduation and a career, and facilitate faculty development. Providing a venue for discourse, learning, and attention on how to navigate through the pandemic will offer time to reflect on what are the best practices to promote. The practices that address the many opportunities and challenges to allied health education posed by COVID 19. We invite all to submit abstracts that provide evidence-based advocacy, policy development, research, and dynamic interventions to demonstrate/discuss what survival and transformation strategies influence allied health education at HBCUs.
